 Do or die-alectic

Rosanne Rosannadana (aka Gilda Radner) said “If it’s not one thing it’s another.”

The gleaming truck bearing the man with the white cloth trimming the American tree was one thing.

The filthy alley below countered that the dirt and poverty was another thing.

The teenage boy choosing which girl would be his favorite is one thing.

The golden rings around the faces of the girls suggested another thing.

The APP that transported the seeker to a place near the heavens was one thing.

The “schtik” that she and we all wear as masks is yet another thing.

The men exploring how they are being defeated decisively by constantly greater beings is one thing.

Knowing that “out of defeat, comes da’ smell” is another thing.

On our way toward wholeness let us not take ourselves too seriously.

Graduate schools, think tanks, and marriage are great institutions.

“If you don’t mind living in institutions” . . .(Groucho Marx)

Maybe that is the third thing.
