What we see
Is so limited,
What we believe
Is even more
Suspect,
What we sense
When the radiance
Of the audience wraps
Its invisible arms
Around us, when
What we feel nudging
Us from behind and
Imploring us to do,
Lies before us,
And how to serve
Transforms our lives.
So for the moment I
Will believe nothing,
Yet, I will embrace
With my outstretched
Arms the assignment
From angels and guides
That are embodied within,
As are my head and heart,
And even if I am busted
For praying, I will discover
Unknown rooms within me
That will sustain me as long
As I draw a breath in this life.

We Embrace Hades Town
Because we must learn to befriend Those below, who are punched down, disabled, waiting to be housed by those who hold the key, So, at times we can’t sit back in our theatre seats. At times the silence is deafening, we’re forever divided, excluded and disempowered to stop the brutality we see all around us. Still, we join the rallies and say no. And yet, we must also embrace that friend and enjoy that ‘good small’ cup of coffee, while we still can.

All ya’ have to do . . .
Is lift a finger and touch the life that
Exists below you, behind you and within
You to embrace what you were born to
Live. That pool is deep, and the life swimming
In those waters carries the knowledge you
Require. Even if you touch it ever so lightly,
with a tiny finger, the darkness moves toward
The light, and the implements of destruction
You feared become upended and harmless.
Yes, it’s a long haul, back and forth, up and
Down, taking those underworld passages,
but well worth the journeys.

Think Twice!
“Get over it; ”I couldn’t care less,” “whatever!” Behind or below every sentence we speak, there lives a shadow.
That lurks as surely as those childhood snubs that are so familiar. Even that book we are writing finds us doubting and critiquing the very gems of insight and creativity that bring us alive. The library you carry within, the research you’ve held for decades, can seemingly, in a dream or a flash, appear like an ancient crash, where face down we confront the demons of the past that seem to attack us head on, and all too quickly, remind us of our failures and missteps that arise like unwelcome Zombies.
In that seminal moment though, we do have an ally, within, that can pause, and reflect, choose and explore, and yes, even dare to seek help from comrades.
Yes, that pause! There we find that secret passageway where we remember who we were called to be in this life, so that we can continue to find our way home.
