 What we see

Is so limited,

What we believe

Is even more

Suspect,

What we sense

When the radiance

Of the audience wraps

Its invisible arms

Around us, when

What we feel nudging

Us from behind and

Imploring us to do,

Lies before us,

And how to serve

Transforms our lives.

So for the moment I

Will believe nothing,

Yet, I will embrace

With my outstretched

Arms the assignment

From angels and guides

That are embodied within,

As are my head and heart,

And even if I am busted

For praying, I will discover

Unknown rooms within me

That will sustain me as long

As I draw a breath in this life.

We Embrace Hades Town

Because we must learn to befriend Those below, who are punched down, disabled, waiting to be housed by those who hold the key, So, at times we can’t sit back in our theatre seats. At times the silence is deafening, we’re forever divided, excluded and disempowered to stop the brutality we see all around us. Still, we join the rallies and say no. And yet, we must also embrace that friend and enjoy that ‘good small’ cup of coffee, while we still can.
